Controlling Show Access (Registration, Submissions, Preview, Launch)
Use the per-show toggles to control who can register, submit, and preview — then launch when you are ready.
Controlling Show Access
A show's status (Coming Soon, Upcoming, Live, Ended) is only about its lifecycle. Who can actually do things with a show is controlled by a set of independent on/off switches on your Shows screen. Each show card has its own switches, and they decide what artists and the public can do before a show launches.
The switches on each card
- Artist Registration: lets artists sign up to take part in this show. The show's open invite link only works while this is on.
- Art Submissions: lets the artists in the show upload artwork to it.
- Voting: lets visitors vote on artwork (on the plans that include it).
- Public Preview: lets everyone see the show page before it officially launches (useful for VIP or early-collector access). While it is off, the show's address shows the Coming Soon page.
- Artist Preview: lets the artists in the show see the full collection before launch.
- Show Art in Profiles: controls whether pieces from this show appear on your artists' public profile pages.
Each switch flips instantly. There is no separate Save button.
What else is on a show card
Each card has Edit, Invite Artists, Sales and View Show Preview (or View Show once it is live). The artist count, artwork count and, when curation is on, the curator count are links: they open that show's artists, its artwork and its curators.
Launching and closing
When you are ready to go public, click Launch Show Now on the show card and confirm. This flips the show to live, opens public preview so nothing goes dark, and sends your artists a one-time notification.
When the show is over, click Close Show. Closing stops purchases but keeps the show visible for viewing. A closed show stays online until you archive it.
