Show Statuses: Coming Soon, Upcoming, Live & Ended
Understand the lifecycle of a show and what each status means. "Draft" is now called Coming Soon.
Show Statuses
Every show moves through a predictable lifecycle. Understanding each status helps you manage your shows effectively.

Coming Soon
The show has not launched. Use this stage to configure details, invite artists, and collect artwork. Anyone who visits the show's public address sees a Coming Soon page with your logo, dates and a countdown, not the artwork. The switches on the show's card decide what artists and the public can already do: see Controlling Show Access.
Upcoming (the Preview state)
On the Shows screen and on the artist dashboard this state is labelled Upcoming. The show is scheduled but not launched. When its start date arrives it goes live by itself. To put a show in this state, open the show and click Set Preview.
Live (also shown as Active)
The show is publicly visible and fully interactive. Visitors can browse artworks, vote (if enabled), favorite pieces, and purchase artworks. A pulsing green dot indicates a show is live.
Ended (also shown as Closed)
The show has closed. The page remains accessible for viewing, but voting and purchases are disabled. Shows move to Ended by themselves when their end date passes. An ended show can be Archived or re-opened.
Changing the status yourself
The quickest route is the Launch Show Now and Close Show buttons on the show's card on the Shows screen. On the show's own page the quieter actions are: Set Preview, Go Live, End Show, Re-open, Archive and Back to Coming Soon.
