Curating Artwork Submissions

Curation Queue

Curation lets you review and approve artwork submissions before they appear on public show pages. It is included from the mid plans upward. Your Settings → Billing page shows whether your plan has it.

How It Works

1. An artist submits an artwork to a show
2. The artwork enters the curation queue with "Pending" status
3. Admins and curators review it from Curation in the sidebar
4. You can Approve, Reject, or Request Changes
5. The artist is notified by email of the decision

Bulk Actions

Select multiple artworks using the checkboxes, then use the bulk action buttons to approve, request changes for, or reject several at once.

Switching Curation On for a Show

Curation is set per show. Open the show, click Edit Show, and switch on Curate this show under Settings.

Bringing in Outside Curators

You do not have to add a juror to your team. The Curators panel at the top of the Curation Queue lets you invite anyone, including one of your artists or collectors, to curate one show or all of them. See Inviting Curators and the Curate Screen.

Without Curation

On plans that do not include curation, all artwork submissions are auto-approved and appear on the public show page immediately. If you want to review work before collectors see it, you need a plan with curation.
