Setting Up Stripe Payments
Connect your Stripe account to accept credit card payments for artwork sales.
Stripe Payment Processing
Stripe is the primary payment provider for Art Show Hub. It enables credit and debit card payments at checkout.
Connecting Stripe
- Go to Settings → Payments
- Click "Connect with Stripe"
- You'll be redirected to Stripe to authorize the connection
- Complete the Stripe onboarding flow (business details, bank account)
- Once authorized, you'll be redirected back to Art Show Hub
- Stripe appears as an active payment method with a green checkmark
Test Mode vs. Live Mode
Art Show Hub supports Stripe test mode for development and testing. In test mode, you can use Stripe's test card numbers (e.g., 4242 4242 4242 4242) to simulate transactions without real charges.
What Buyers See
At checkout, buyers see a "Pay with Card" tab powered by Stripe Elements. They enter their card details in a secure, PCI-compliant form embedded on the checkout page.
Tip: Stripe processes payouts to your bank account on a rolling basis (typically 2 business days). Check your Stripe dashboard for payout schedules.
