How per-show commissions work, including flat and percentage rates.
Commission System
Commissions let you take a share of artwork sales. They're configured per-show, giving you flexibility for different events.
Commission Types
- None — No commission; artists receive the full sale price
- Flat Fee — A fixed dollar amount per item sold
- Percentage — A percentage of the artwork price (excludes shipping)
Setting Commission
When creating or editing a show, you'll find the commission settings under the pricing section. Set the type and value.
How It's Calculated
Commission is calculated at the time of sale and locked into the order record. Even if you later change the show's commission rate, existing orders keep their original commission amount. Shipping costs are never included in commission calculations.
