Commission Settings Per Show
How per-show commissions work, including flat and percentage rates.
Commission System
Commissions let you take a share of artwork sales. They're configured per-show, giving you flexibility for different events.
Commission is taken on the artwork price only, never on shipping. Whatever the buyer pays for shipping goes through untouched.
Commission Types
- None: no commission; artists receive the full sale price
- Percentage of the sale: a percentage of the artwork price
- Flat fee per piece: a fixed dollar amount per piece sold
- Set per artist: a different rate for each artist
Setting Commission
Open the show, click Edit Show, and scroll to the Commission section. Choose the Commission Type and enter the Commission Value. A percentage is entered and shown as a percent: type 30 for 30%.
How It's Calculated
Commission is calculated at the time of sale and locked into the order record. Even if you later change the show's commission rate, existing orders keep their original commission amount. Shipping costs are never included in commission calculations.
