How Artwork Submissions Work

Artwork Submission Process

For Artists (Artist Portal)

Artists submit artworks through a guided 4-step wizard:

1. Select Show — Choose which show to submit to (only shows they're assigned to appear)
2. Artwork Details — Title, description, medium, dimensions, year
3. Upload Images — Add up to 10 images per artwork (plan dependent)
4. Pricing & Shipping — Set price, availability, and per-zone shipping costs

For Admins

Admins can view all artworks from the Artworks section. If curation is enabled, new submissions appear in the curation queue for review.

Submission Flow

After an artist submits, the artwork follows this path:

1. Artwork enters the curation queue as Pending, or publishes straight away if your plan does not include curation
2. Admin or curator reviews and sets status to Approved, Rejected, or Changes Requested
3. Approved artworks appear on the public show page
4. The artist receives an email notification with the curation decision
