Who Gets Which Email: Owner, Admins, Artists and Collectors
What you and your admins are told, and what your artists and collectors receive, when people join.
Who Gets Which Email
All of these go out in your own branding (your logo, colors and name), and a reply to any of them reaches the account's owner.
When an artist comes on board
This fires whichever route the artist took: accepting an invitation, an existing artist accepting one, registering through a show's open invite link or your artist sign-up link, or an existing account joining through the open link.
- The owner and admins get a notice naming the artist, the route they came by, and the show.
- The artist gets "You are in {show}" with the show's dates, the artwork deadline and their next steps.
When a collector signs up
- The collector gets a welcome from your gallery. It uses your own Welcome subject and wording from Settings → Emails, so write one there if you have not.
- The owner and admins get a "New collector" notice with the running total of collectors.
Schedule dates
Each date on a show's Schedule emails that show's artists as it approaches, and posts an announcement on their dashboard. If you move a date, its reminder is re-armed.
Artists who have never had a password
Their invitation reads "accept, choose a password" and is valid for 14 days. See People Who Have Never Chosen a Password.
What never sends an email
Opening an old order never sends a confirmation or a sale notice. Orders brought over from a previous shop are read-only records and nobody is emailed about them.
