Releasing Results and Bringing Artists In
Decide, write the three emails in your own words, preview, type RELEASE. Accepted artists land on your roster with their pieces in the show.
Decide every entry (or use “decline them all” for the rest), close the call to new entries, then open Release results. The page checks it can go, then shows three tabs, Accepted, Waitlisted and Declined, each a message you write in your own words with {first_name}, {name}, {entry_number} and {call_title} filled in per person. Your wording is saved as you go. Preview renders the finished email for a real applicant, in your branding, before anything is sent. Type RELEASE and every artist hears at once.
Accepted artists get an artist account with you (their application login becomes it), land on your roster, and their accepted pieces are already in the show; the email asks them to sign in and set a price for each piece. If the call asks them to confirm their place, the email carries the date and a one-click Confirm button; the Accepted tab shows who has confirmed, and anyone who gives up their place frees it for the waitlist.
Every decision email is kept on the entry. Releasing again later sends only the decisions made since.
