Jurors, Scoring and the Jury Room

Who can jury

Under Jury settings, pick jurors from the collectors and artists you already have (they judge from their own sign-in, under Jury in their menu; an artist juror never sees their own entry) or invite anyone by email. A guest juror gets no account: their email carries a private link straight into the jury room for that one call, and they see nothing else in your account.

How jurors score

Choose the scale (stars, Yes / Maybe / No, or a score out of 3, 10, 20, 50 or 100) before the first score is in; after that it is locked. Blind review hides artists’ names. What jurors see lets you hide the price, year, medium, dimensions, description, statement and application answers, and choose the order jurors walk entries: entry number, a fixed shuffle per juror, first piece title, or newest first. Open the jury room when you are ready; close it to lock scores.

The jury room

Jurors see a grid of entries with their progress, then each entry with its pieces. They rate each piece, vote it In, Maybe or Out, leave a private note, and move on with Save and next (arrow keys work). Focus mode shows the work full screen with the marks under it; number keys rate, I / M / O vote. Jurors can @mention each other and, if you allow it, the artist.

Rankings and rounds

Rankings lists every piece best-average first with vote tallies. Shortlist from there, then, if you want a second look, Start round 2 on Jury settings: the panel sees only the shortlisted entries, scores from round 1 are kept, and you can show jurors the earlier average.
