Creating Your First Show

Art shows are the centerpiece of Art Show Hub. Here's how to create one from scratch.

Step 1: Navigate to Shows

Click "Shows" in the sidebar, then click the "+ Add New Show" button.

Step 2: Fill In Show Details

• Show Title — Give your show a compelling name
• Description — Describe the show's theme, vision, or purpose
• Start Date — When the show goes live to the public
• End Date — When the show closes
• Banner Image — A hero image displayed at the top of your public show page

Step 3: Configure Show Settings

• Voting: enable audience voting on artworks (on the plans that include it)
• Commission: your cut of each sale (none, a percentage, a flat fee per piece, or set per artist). It is taken on the artwork price only, never on shipping
• Show Page Links: extra links that appear on the public show page
• Top of the show page: switch the show logo, show title and countdown timer on or off. See Top of the Show Page

A new show starts as Coming Soon (this used to be called "Draft"). Its public address shows a Coming Soon page with your logo, dates and a countdown until you open it.

Step 4: Add Artists

In the show form, use the Search artists to add box under Artists in This Show to find people already on your roster. To bring in people who are not on your roster yet, click Invite Artists on the show and paste their names and emails: see Inviting Artists in Bulk. Only artists in the show can submit artwork to it.

Step 5: Launch

When your show is ready:

1. Ensure artists have submitted their artworks
2. Review and curate submissions (if curation is enabled)
3. On the Shows screen, click Launch Show Now on the show's card and confirm
4. Share the public link with your audience (copy it from Quick links on your dashboard)
